ERC: Your e-resources connection
The Education Resource Center is located on the second, third, and fourth floors of the Debakey Center. Staff offices and our Circulation Desk are located on the second floor. We assist students with many services including wired and wireless networking, remote access, electronic resources, texts, productivity software, poster printing and imaging software to name a few. We have open study areas, study carrels with data and power connectivity and walk up computing. In addition to physical resources, the ERC staff is ready and able to help answer your questions or troubleshoot problems. The ERC Web site is a wealth of information. You can find it at http://erc.bcm.edu or just click the ERC banner at the top of this tutorial.
This tutorial is designed to give you an overview of some of the ERC services and to help you get started computing at Baylor College of Medicine. You will also learn a little about your Integrated Problem Solving class and how resources in the ERC can assist you in that class.
The tutorial contains several links to the main ERC Web site or other College Web pages for more detailed information about a particular subject. Links to pages outside of this tutorial will open in a new window. Although you can use the left-hand navigation to view certain sections, the best way to view the tutorial is to click the arrow below to ensure that you do not miss any valuable information.
