Educational Scholars Fellowship Program

 

The primary aim of the ESFP is to enhance the educational mission of the College by improving the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of individual faculty. Academy of Distinguished Educators The mission of the Academy is recognize educational achievements and teaching contributions of individual faculty to their departments and to Baylor College of Medicine, promote professional development, innovation, and excellence in education and promote a free exchange of ideas regarding educational theory and methods. Master of Education in Technology The University of Houston Master of Education in Teaching with an emphasis in the Health Sciences is designed to meet the needs of the medical educator who is seeking to increase his or her instructional effectiveness.

HAM-TMC Library classes The schedule for classes September-December 2004 has been posted. Some of the offerings include Basic HTML, Endnote, Reference Manager, PowerPoint Basic and Advanced, CINAHL, and Pub Med. All classes are held in the Street Level Classroom at HAM-TMC Library. Most are 2 hours and free for Baylor faculty. Be sure to check pre-requisites.
Guides to Multimedia Software These online guides include step-by-step instruction for Basic HTML, Web Authoring with Dreamweaver 4.0, Scanning Images, Adobe Photoshop, Video Editing and a host of other multimedia software. From the Electronic Resources Center at Rice University.
